It was a cool and windy day in Seelys Bay as the Grand Master MW Bro
John C Green officiated at this Cornerstone dedication. Among other
notables, Brethren from as far as London were in attendance as well as
all points in between. Ottawa Districts 1 & 2 were very well
represented with the DDGMs from each District, current Grand Stewards,
the Grand Jr Deacon and of course the Deputy Grand Master and the Grand
Senior Warden. Sydney Albert Luke had 3 members out as well as Temple
Lodge with 2 members. All in all it was a great time and I had the
opportunity to connect with many traveling companions and brethren from
Southern and Western Ontario that I don't see as often as I would like.
At the conclusion of the Ceremony we met in the Lodge basement for
refreshment before heading our separate ways. Many of the Brethren
assembled headed for the Grand Master's Reception in Kingston however, I
along with VWB Graham Jameson and W Bro Trevor Hemmerling returned to
Ottawa to attend the Dogs of 2000 Charity Table Lodge.
